Hey all, I am putting together my first hifi audio station and had a couple questions about the Fubar headphone amps.
I've been doing research on the NG27 and Fubar amps and happen to come across a used Fubar III MKI auction. I couldn't find anywhere how much this unit is worth, can anyone tell me? I'm sure it's much older than its successor, has anyone compared to the two sound-quality wise? I wouldn't want to bid too much on the MKI since I'm just starting out, or I might as well get the MKII if the price is so close.
Some other questions regarding a computer setup. Ideally I'd like to have a standalone source but my startup budget isn't very much. I'd like to use my old laptop with a usb dac (open to more options here) to play apple lossless format off an external hdd. Does this sound like something I should do?
