What happened to Sony ES line? Did Sony kill it? - Page 2

There are a few Sony ES components which were extraordinary in quality, as well as value, one of these  that comes to mind is the TA-N80ES stereo power amp. Another,  not from  ES, but rather professional audio line,  the PCM-7010F DAT recorder. I could list others, but it is so good as to keep me on E-bay looking to buy em for parts to keep the ones I've got running.

I really liked the CDP-XA7ES, CDP-X3000ES and CDP-X5000ES CD players. Top loading, fixed pickup mechanism, and the latter two look really good in their shoebox style design.

I have the CDP-XA7es and it's my favorite CD player. The SCD-1 & SCD-777es are best of the best.
