I thought I had it right? - Page 3

I am thinking of getting my CD-players modified. Otherwise a Marantz or Denon might be options. The DAC I have right now is satisfying enough to keep so a suitable integrated amplifier with clean headphone out is second. Why an integrated amplifier by the way, turntable compatibility. I might keep the Sansui after a check up.

I prefer to keep it simple for the main set up...

Simple is always beautiful...

Too many separate components eat away too much space (cables!) and too many separate components are annoying anyway...

I like my system to be as flexible as possible... digital files, cds, dvds, LPs, 78s, reel to reel, cassette. Hard to keep all that simple!

I can choose; score a bargain CD-player new or used or go for modifications. Hmmm...

Get a new bargain CD player. There are some great inexpensive ones out there.

A new CD6003 for 300 euros is not bad indeed among others. It is so easy to get good CD-players for little money. Time to visit some stores...
