For Sale or Trade Senn 600 modified (foam and grills removed) - as recommended by Stefan AudioArt

I am the second owner - the phones and cable are in very good to excellent condition (I can't see any scratch).

 

The cable has OCC (copper) common wire and SXC (silver) signal ($365)

Senn 600 have street price of ~$300 or less.

 

This combos costs ~ $650

USPS Shipping ~$30 First Class to Latin America / Europe (first class) ~$55 Priority with Tracking ...

Will only charge actual shipping ...

 

Cable only will cost ~ half or less ...

I am contemplating selling cable only ... people are more concerend about the mods (removing foam and grills - that actually sounds much better than stock ... stock 600 sounds veiled - this mod only opens the cans up ... sounds more transparent ... just better / clearer

I am thinking of buying the grills from Senn ~$20 and I think I have the inner foam from another pair of Senns - heck I could even buy the stock cable - all of these are downgrades of course ...

Yes, it is crazy - I should keep it ... I won't be able to get this deal if I am in the market for anything near this quality ... a couple of years ago - I sold a lower perfromance recabled Senn for ~$375.

I should be selling the cable alone for this price ...

 

I think it is price too low ... bump for price up ...

Any one can do this mod to their 600 - recommended by Stefan AudioArt (regardless of cable).

Removing foam makes them more transparent - removing the Senn 600/650 Veil and removing grills makes them more open ... I had them with Mogami ($600cable) - the bass was better on them but Mids and highs are as good as it gets on the ALO cable on Senn 600...

 

I am thinking of keeping them ... until the market improves ...
