DIY DAC to accompany bottlehead crack + speedball & HD650

Heyo guys,

 

Just a quick question, pretty much summed up in the title. I'm looking for a kit to work on myself. In terms of price, I'm willing to outbudget ~$200-250, but recommendations that shine for the HD650 in each price category would be much appreciated (lower and higher). I think this list is pretty comprehensive. Suggestions from it would be awesome.

Gamma2 comes to mind, or maybe a barebones OPUS setup.
