Which LOD Source?

As I am considering an "upgrade" from my Cowon S9 for a marginal price and having good experiences with a LOD from a 5.5G Ipod, I am looking for a decent source with a good Lineout signal.  Between: Sansa Fuze and Ipod (Any Generation/Ipod Touch/IPhone), which offers a better line out signal?  A brief description between the two would be appreciated as well.

 

Additionally, has there been a more recent Sansa player that out-does the Fuze?

Okay then how about an Itouch and a 5.5G Ipod Classic?

Regarding the ipod touch and 5.5 gen ipod , the 5.5gen ipod is easily the best ipod device thus far, this has been proven.I have had most gens and currently have a 3rd gen touch and 5.5 gen ipod and imod, the  5.5 gen ipod has a lovely warm signature to it.

The Wolfson dac in the 5.5 gen ipod is the best dac that has been used in any ipod to date, this is fact.

This is subjective....I think my Touch 4G sounds better than my sister's 5.5 Video and her 2nd gen Touch.
