Foobar2k = Fubared ?

Has anyone else had this problem where you play an album in the morning, and when you come home from a hard day - you kick your shoes off and jam some music on? Then all you get is > > > "foobar2000 was terminated abnormally last time" < < < thing is, the last time I used it I turnd it off in the same old way?

And when I get this message ^ I have 3 options of the following:

> Start foobar in safe mode

> check the online troubleshooter

> start foobar normally

Now, I press any one of the 3 - and all I get is:

"foobar has crashed"

"would you like to send a report about the crash for analysis?"

I've done any which way posible and still no joy - any ideas please?

Many thanks :)

These would be my guesses:

- corrupted files because of some hard drive errors

- even though it didn't display any error messages, foobar might've crashed on exit corrupting your playlist files as a result, which now cause foobar to crash

- if you updated your plugins through the components page in the preferences, the newer versions could be conflicting with your version of foobar

- some anti-malware type of program auto-updated itself and is now conflicting with foobar

- malware

Cheers mate, thanks very much for the info.

Ended up uninstalling both foobar and wasabi and then doing a fresh install.

I’ve just decided to change my avatar from the wise old yoda to gubbles from south park after this lol

Thanks again mate :)

I have a portable foobar installation and I only get this if my computer crashes (power failure/BSOD made in nVidia or something).

Also, clicking any of the three buttons works fine :c
