Quick question: What solder do I need to terminate headphones cables?

Also what should I buy to solder together a DAC?

Thanks!

Good old lead solder. Lead free is only for 'environmental reasons', but is potentially going to cause an even worse waste of resources due to the risk of tin whiskers degrading the contact over time and shortening the life of electrical items.

Awesome thanks! I can use the same type of solder for both?

Which one should I go with then?

Silver-Bearing Solder

High-Tech Rosin-Core Solder

Rosin-Core Solder

High-Tech Rosin Core Silver-Bearing Solder

So many options!
