Upgrade in AMP or Source first for LCD-2?

1990 onkyo stereo power amp, p3200 preamp, and eq-140 equilizer

 

and the source is an hrt-music streamer II

 

I was thinking should I go ahead and buy the Digital Link III DAC for my source

 

or upgrade my amp to a burson ha-160 / schitt lyr w/ mullard tubes

Do you own the LCD's already?   If you do I'd go amp first.
