I have noticed a problem with the volume control of my LD Mk.III. When it is set to zero, there is still a weak signal on the left channel. As switching over the driver tubes (right to left) makes no difference, I presume this is due to the quality of the pot itself (quite a cheap ALPS, I believe). At listening levels, the channel balance seems fine (pink noise produces "dead centre" image). Is this all that is to be expected of an amp at this price level, or does it look like there is a fault. I don't really want to send it back to Shenzhen if I don't have to....
P.S. does anyone else have problems with microphonic (stock) driver tubes? I am using the amp at its maximum gain setting with HD600s.
