Best sound card for DT990 pro (250 ohm)

I know the Xonar Essence STX is a popular option, but I'm wondering if there is anything else out there that's maybe better/newer etc that I should also be considering.

 

I just bought these headphones and oh good lord they sound good, but I know a proper sound card is gonna be helpful.

 

I want this for gaming mostly, so being able to use Dolby Headphone is a must too.

Actually, the Creative X-Fi Titanium HD outperforms those two, and along with the virtualization tech CMSS3D, it has the best gaming performance there is.

i know its better

 

but its expensive

 

and dont work with win xp

 

if you have dual os like win xp and 7 you cant run it

The OP didn't state a budget, only that gaming was a main concern. And the Titanium HD is a far better performer than previous gen X-Fi chips. XP? Irrelevant.
