You didn't mention budget. So it's necessary to ask, are you looking for a real subwoofer - ie: one that can actually reproduce genuine low bass - or a more typical computer speaker sub - like Cambridge Soundworks or Klipsch or such?
I guess any thing under $40. I'm not looking for the best but if some thing that cheap is going to suck I'll just pass on a subwoofer until I can afford it. My speakers happen to be CA so I guess a CA subwoofer would go well with it.
My speakers sound horrible playing music because they have zero bass response, and messing with any bass settings in the WMP EQ makes it sounds worse. I guess ANY subwoofer that works would benefit me.
