I would like to warn the buyers about this seller.

He has contacted me on my WTB thread wanting to sell his K702, which I paid for but have never received. 

Seller has failed to provide me proof of postage, but because I paid with Paypal gift, I wasn't able to get money back. Dennis, however, offered me partial refund, but after I said I will accept it, he stopped communicating, and I have never received neither headphones or refund.

 

It has been 3 months since, and now seeing "second pair" appear for sale is very suspicious.

So beware guys.

At the beginning, u kept barginning with me....

U kept lowering my price for at least three times.....

The original price I was looking for is $450 + shipping (for headphone + 2 cables)

however, finally u made the bargin $425 shipped.

 

I told u " Um...... The point is that I can't ship it the cheapest way Coz it's not safe......"


But u never listened to me!     I experienced three losts with USPS priority mail for international shippings (out of >40).

Before u paid me $425, I told u I would shipped it the cheapest way.

The only thing I would ask for is for you to mark the package as low value, something like $50 and "gift" to avoid the UK customs.

 

I don't mind the cheapest way of shipping but I hope it's cheapest air method; because if it's going by boat it ll take like 6 months :P

If I mark the value that low, how can I make the insurance for it?!

 

I did all u told me to do and now u said I am a scammer!    Does it make any sense to u?

I even sent u my Bank account balance to prove that I did ship something out exactly on the same day as I said (obviously Not domestic mail for that price).

I even paid the unexpected high shipping cost.   ($.$)

 

If I am a scammer, I would hv opened a new user account on Head-Fi !

If I am a scammer, I wouldn't reply any messages after u made the payment !

If I am a scammer, I wouldn't cheat u only !  (especially, I sold many items that are more expensive than this)

U know wt, my feedback is much more important than a headphone.

If u want so, I can send u my Ebay account to check my feedbacks.

 

 

About the second pair of K702,

I bought it after I had sold and shipped it to u.  Understood?  (check the date!!!)   I did show u a photo of my first pair of K702, remember?(before I bought the new one)

Next time, pls make sure everything before u said someone is a scammer.

And pls dun accuse anyone base on ur "suspicious".   angry_face.gif

I haven't called anyone a scammer, have I? I just wanted to warn the buyers to be careful with paying via Paypal gift to Dennis.

 

Dennis, I don't mind cheapest method, but you have failed to provide any proof of your postage. All you said is "I just threw it in auto shipping machine". A simple receipt would allow to track to parcel, but without having even that how do I know if you have sent them? All USPS priority mails have tracking number within US which then carries to UK shipping company. That would make it very easy to track it. And USPS priority mail is reliable and I have never had any problems with it. But how can you not be bothered to keep the receipt or a tracking number for $425 transaction?! Then you have offered me a partial refund, which I have never received either.

 

You are a very irresponsible seller.

I can help u to answer the question, it is becoz u wanna save as much as possible and to avoid the custom fees.

 

However, when the parcel is lost (or u hv already received it), u said I am an irresponsible seller .

 

I just simply followed wt u told me to do!

The customs form you filled will have a number on it though, which you can at least check has been scanned by USPS upon acceptance

Example: LC006036 082US from a package i sent to Germany last month. 

 

Even with First Class Mail (cheapest option, uninsured) will require you to fill that form 

 

I'm also pretty sure you can't throw a package in the USPS box if it's international, tried it before

It's not a USPS BOX........  can u pls read carefully?

 

Again, I admitted that it's my fault that I threw away the printed receipt and the custom form (they were given to me together).

 

But I hv alread showed the seller evidence that I hv already shipped the parcel out on that day.

 

If the buyer followed wt I suggested (insurance + tracking), then the parcel would hv already arrived safely.  (or maybe it did)

 

No one knows whether the buyer received the parcel or not!  confused_face_2.gif

You don't have to pay extra for the tracking number, it just comes with USPS priority. Screenshot of your bank account showing that you shipped something somewhere is not even close to be an evidence, so please...

I have also had this happen with this seller

 

Pretty much the exact same situation where I bought a pair of T50p from Dennis and paid him through Paypal as a gift only for them never to arrive and it has been close to 8 weeks since I paid him.

 

He was never able to even confirm what address he shipped them to and also advised that there was no tracking number either.

 

I live in Australia so I assume that he would have had to complete a customs form as well.

 

$200 wasted and nothing to show for it, I wasn't even offered a partial refund.

 

Moral of the story is don't ever send payment as a gift and don't trust this seller.

any sensible buyer would avoid this thread and this seller.

on the head-fi classified front page: PROTECT YOURSELF AGAINST SCAMMERS - DON'T SEND MONEY AS A "GIFT"

 

it doesnt matter how cheap shipping is, 3 cases of lost items is just unlikely. I have heard too many negative reports about this seller for me to consider buying any of his items.

you do not have to pay extra for tracking when using USPS Priority International. And asking to declare the item value at $50 is perfectly reasonable. Considering the K702s were sold for $425, the buyer would have had to pay around $90 in customs fees if $425 was put as the declared value.

I was going to buy some of the items on this page, but luckily I now know that this seller is not to be trusted.

 

@Drake22 & bsaac - be sure to leave negative feedback on the seller's page to make sure that he is banned.
