What would be a suitable amp for Audioengine P4 Speaker?

I'm looking for an amp to use with Audioengine P4 passive speakers. I was wondering if a tube-amp like a Woo Audion WA-3 would be suitable since I'm looking to also use it with my next set of headphones (Hifiman HE-5LE).

My current amp (HeadRoom Portable Micro Amp with DAC) has a volume controlled out so I don't need another DAC.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Phil

No. It will not work.

The Woo WA-3 is a headphone amp. NOT a speaker amp.

You need a speaker amp to power the P4's.

Get yourself a nice Tamp. I heard that there are good things about the Topping TP21.

I have it. It sounds a lot smoother and fuller than my Maverick Audio A1 amp, driving my PSB Image B15 speakers.

Thanks for the response.

Do you know of any online stores that ship to places like China? Also what is the standard "street price" of the Topping.

Cheers

Yes. Ebay. They actually SELL the Topping TP21 IN China. Topping is pretty much a Chinese product. Pretty much everything's in China anyways nowadays.

I don't know retail price. The prices are just all on ebay.

Topping also has their own website that states the price for their amps.

Hifimediy T3 seems to be very suitable for these speakers (bags of power into 4 ohm impedance), much better built than other T-amps but it is only available as a kit.

But it all depends on the construction of the unit with the types of parts that make it better sounding than other amps with higher power.
