Well then, where should one look?

what is the bridge going to give me?

Not in public posts.  If one is actually interested in purchasing and not just "knowing" about deals, one could try PMing the other one.

m903 is also in the price range, and may be worth considering.

I picked it up for even less than that, but that was not including shipping and taxes.

I'm referring to authorized dealers.  If you got a better price than that, power to you.

Requirements.

It only has a USB input.  I really don't even want the USB implementation in the same box.  I want to use this.

So I want other options than just a single USB.

looking at:

Calyx

Ayre QB-9

Master 7

PWDII

The new ECD-2 from Electrocompaniet

If needed the:

Alph USB from Berkley.

$2,000 USB converter and $3,000 DAC = you're doing it wrong.

Reminds me of some $10.000 speakers and $5000 speaker cable systems that I've seen confused.gif

^ agreed, no way a pricey converter (or any converter for that matter) is going to be worth 3/4 your DAC.
