I'm not sure how much attention this op amp has been given, but I'm finding it very nice the more I listen to it. It has a very articulate bass and seems to be crystal clear. I gave the opa827 more credit while my Auzentech Forte was in the picture but sincee I got this TubeMagic D1 and tried out the opa1611 in the dac part (the headphone amp sucks) I have a newfound appreciation of this op amp. Have any of you tried this op amp and if so what do you think and if not, give it a try, I think you might like it.

I didn't think of TEAC when I began searching for a dedicated CD player. My initial short list included Denon, Cambridge, Marantz, Onkyo. The Teac intrigued me, so I went for it. It is very...

Have you tried OPA1641? this one blows me away when driving headphones and/or as DAC LPF. TI advise to use it in high-end bluray players, I can hear why
No, all I have are the ones I took out of the Forte and this Maverick , plus the ones you sent me, leeperry. But I will try it, along with a OPA627 and a LM4562 as I can pick them up cheap from Tam's. You don't have any more for sale, do you? I'll pick 'em up lickity split.
