I too have a pristine pair of Spica T-50s and would like to know if I should sell them or not. Comments??

This quick review is done after a few hours of listening. I bought them from B&H for the decent sum of 150$. If you've done your research you'll find out that Ultrasone HPs are known for their...

I auditioned the SRH-1840 straight out of the box, and was unsatisfied with the sound, so I decided to give them a period of break-in. Recent scientific studies have shown definite differences...

I didn't think of TEAC when I began searching for a dedicated CD player. My initial short list included Denon, Cambridge, Marantz, Onkyo. The Teac intrigued me, so I went for it. It is very...

Spicas for sale?
If I were you I'd keep them. I'm very familiar with them and they cannot handle too much power and can't play that loud but in a small enclosure they can be very magical. I was just thinking about them a few days ago. I first heard them in the early 80's playing Carmina Burana. that moment launched me into the world of live music and to the world of high end. How did you get them? I wish I had them for sure.
I purchased them new in Sante Fe, NM in the 80's, for my home in Chicago. In the store, I immediately heard the "magic" you're referring to. It felt as though the singer was right in front of me and that I new exactly where the other band members were, so much so, that I could have touched them on the shoulder even though there was no one there. Bought them on the spot.
Was thinking about them today. Imaging and midrange are the spicas thing. Don't ever sell them.
Thanks for the feedback Mr. Ant.
