Hmm, might have to check this out. However, 600mW output with 8 Ohms output impedance suggests to me it might be good with something closer to HD-800s than my LCD-2s.  The only price I can find is at around $1k locally too.  Maybe if they could tap the speaker output for the headphones it could get interesting.

Interesting. What's the construction like? Is it on a PCB or is it point-to-point?

What is the power supply like?
