I've had some audio stuff delivered to Sydney from Canada before using Canada Post; to give you an idea of cost, iems $10-$15, full-size headphones about $50 iirc.

Great! thanks for the info. I just checked their site and bizzarely enough, it goes down to like 16 dollars (without signature), which is awesome.

Use Express Post (which includes tracking) to ship them. It's expensive, though thankfully not as much as UPS. The reason I say this is, Australia Post is full of thieves.

Canadapost on strike since last friday, so cannot use their service atm.  frown.gif

It's a rotating strike, not a general strike. As far as I know, I think it only delays regular services by a few days.

Those prices were with tracking, because...

EDIT: Looks like I'm wrong on the parcel shipping cost with tracking... memory's failing me (which isnt something new)

Yep, thieves in Auspost, and also the contractors who deliver the parcels.

Then there are the lazy buggers who ignore the part where the label says "signature required on delivery" and just leave parcels on my open driveway in open view of everyone who walks by.

Just checked the prices, you're right about $130.

I nearly always get tracking, especially when I buy expensive headphones but I dont recall paying so much so I suppose I didnt get tracking on that parcel.
