Looking to replace my Nuforce NE6

For some reason I don't have much bass coming from them anymore. I don't think its my ears, but I don't know what the hell happened.frown.gif

 

Whats the best replacement for around $50? Brainwavez M2 still?

Did you ever have any bass coming from the NE6?  That's got to be one of the bass light IEM's I've ever heard (and I like the REO's).

 

Check out Joker's post for way too many choices.

The NE-700m is decent, but I'm thinking of going to the shure se215.

The ne-700x is a better choice compared to the brainwavz m2 but with a similar overall sound.

I have owned both the NE7M and the M2 and think the M2 is a very nice replacement option at the $50 price point.

I thought the NE6 were the same as the NE7, the only difference being the volume control?

NE6 and NE7 are last years models.  The 700x and 700m are this years new and improved allegedly.  I never heard the NE series...but I know I liked the 700x.

Ah gotcha, so what would you recommend for under $100?

If you want bass, Atrio X...if you want more balanced but still with a nice low end, Brainwavz M3.  The 700x is slightly behind those two in my personal rankings.
