Right now my setup is:
Computer -> Sony VR-6 Headphones
Computer -> Trends Audio TA-10 -> Paradigm Titan speakers
Essentially I'd like to get advice on a DAC/amp combo that would be suitable for trance, house, hardstyle - However, I do also enjoy traditional music from around the world (African drums, Aboriginal didgeridoos, Japanese Koto).
Also, I'd like to use the DAC as a DAC/pre-amp for my speakers but this is secondary - living in an apartment it's 90% headphones/10% speakers. Budget, well let's say $600 for now.
A fair amount of stuff I listen to is low quality streams, rips from DJ decks, etc, so I'm not sure what the audio term is but I need an amp/DAC that is forgiving with less than optimal sources.
