What is your favorite musical instrument sound? Least favorite?

I like the acoustic sound when acoustic guitar string is picked.  It's not a surprise one of my favorite album is Unplugged by Eric Clapton.  I'm not a huge fan of distortion(as a audiophile not a huge surprise).  I mean guitar distortion, to me it doesn't sound right.  My friend says, I like flat sound?  I don't know what that means.

 

I also like Rodrigo y Gabriella

I am the same, I prefer plucked to strummed and I prefer the guitar, including bass to other instruments. I realised that when wondering one day why I prefer the geres that I do. Most feature plucked guitar. It can be acoustic as well as electric.

 

My least favourite sound is the violin, which explains why I have never got into any classical music.
