Chnnel imbalance receiver

Hello,

I recently acquired a Technics SA-5270 receiver. Connected to a turntable, the channel Imbalance in annoying. With a cd player it's unlistenable. Ay solutions?

The channel imbalance could be caused by a number of things.

It could be due to dirty dials and switches that need deoxit treatment.

It could be DC-offset or bias/idle current related, maybe a dirty/bad relay.

It could also be the pots used fro adjusting the DC-offset and bias that need cleaning.
