iPod Classic Gen. 6 vs. Gen. 7

After viewing Jude's review of the Algorythm Solo, I'm thinking of getting one. I was looking on ebay for

an iPod Classic, and noticed that the 6th gen. was more expensive than the 7th. Since I'm not 'up' on

iPod technology, I thought I'd ask here if there's something about the 6th gen. that's 'better' than the 7th.

Of course, I'd only be using the digital out.

I do not think so.  I am looking to get the 7th due to the space

The two are compared here if I am not mistaken.

6th gen is probably pricier in places because it is discontinued.

 

You should probably go for the 7th gen in any case.
