Ringing is usually caused by a bad fit or seal (I get it on the MEE A151; only IEMs so far that do this to me).  Normally, I recommend playing around with tips to get rid of it (as you need a good seal).  Well, you have customs.  I'd contact the company that made the customs for you and see what they can do.

Hope this helps :)

Use sound canceling IEMs, you know the type that cancels out all ringing out. OR better yet, find equivalent material played back on a cheap synthesizer designed to imitate a ringing piano.

(Now I am being serious) Are you sure its not in the recording? Sometimes ringing or subtle decay is a hallmark of good audio and you happen to have super sensitive ears..

I think my customs being out of phase are causing the problem.  Were they suppose put the transducers in phase?
