First time here. I've been browsing this excellent site intensively for the past several days and it was here in fact that I discovered for the first time what a DAC is and why I should get one. So thanks for that.

 

I've bought a set of Creative Gigaworks T40 Series II speakers and am considering investing a good pair of Sennheiser headphones. The majority of my music listening is on my desktop computer and I am basically looking to get a DAC that will improve the whole listening experience. I am considering getting the Fireye II USB DAC + Headphone amp. I'm on a budget and this is about as high price-wise as I am willing to go:

What I am wondering is, can I connect this same DAC to my speakers as well as my headphones? It doesn't mentioned speakers anywhere in the description, so I have assumed it is only intended for headphone use.
