Hey guys i've been using my D2+ directly into triple.fi 10 for a couple years now. I love the sound quality so i've never had the urge to really change. the only thing is the navigation on the D2+ is kind of awkward. i also don't like the boxi-ness of the unit itself, i kind of wish it was a little flatter.
i haven't been been here in a while, i was wondering if there's been some hot new DAPs that have come out in the past few years. the more capacity the better, but i have around 40gb at the moment which is sufficient. i don't really care for touchscreens.. i'm thinking of getting the ipod again (which i would have never considered a few years ago) but i always liked the navigation and build of them. im not so much an audio-stickler that i was when i first immersed myself with head-fi so it doesn't have to be the best sounding unit ever as i'm not using an external DAC or will be really doing any critical listening :) fwiw, i'm also looking into the IE8s too because i miss the sound of my HD650s i sold :'( thanks in advance.
