I am furious right now. I purchased a pair of HD650s here from a fellow headfier, but when I received the package, I noticed that when i was holding the box, I could feel the headphones jiggling around inside. I took pictures of my unboxing.
The seller did tell me that the headband had broke, but I was going to have sennheiser replace those for me. The seller DID NOT say anything about the DENTED GRILLS. Actually, they arent just dented, they are THRASHED. They are pushed in to the point that they are sitting on the BACK OF THE DRIVER. Who the hell thinks its ok to ship a pair of 500 dollar headphones in a cardbox board box with ABSOLUTELY NO PACKAGING MATERIAL.
My question is, what kind of damage can be sustained through the shipping process, and is it even worth me sending this set in for a service. I doubt they will change out the drivers for a set of new ones if they were damaged at all.
