Cowon J3 as a source for my home rig?

I am planning on buying a pair of d7000s soon and I wanted to know whether using my Cowon J3 as a source is good enough for these headphones. I am also planning on buying the Matrix M Stage amp, using a Zu Audio RCA/Mini cable to connect the J3 to the amp. When I have the money, I will buy a good DAC, but since I use a desktop I will be unable to listen to music around the house. 

Are there any better alternatives for listening to music around the house with that current setup?
Also do you think the M Stage is the best amp for the D7000s at its price range ($250)?
