I auditioned the SRH-1840 straight out of the box, and was unsatisfied with the sound, so I decided to give them a period of break-in. Recent scientific studies have shown definite differences...

I didn't think of TEAC when I began searching for a dedicated CD player. My initial short list included Denon, Cambridge, Marantz, Onkyo. The Teac intrigued me, so I went for it. It is very...

it makes me very happy to hear someone else knowing and liking the dear hunter. Theyre my favorite band and have been since i saw them right before act 2 came out. I dont knwo deas vail, and i will check them out.
You might want to check out Portugal. The man, As Tall as Lions - As Tall as Lions, Guillemots - Through the Windowpane, Bullets in Madison - We Became Your Family When you Died, Any album by Dredg aside from the newest (chuckles and mr. squeezy and catch without arms)
Those are some of my recommendations, there bands that have maybe a similar feel or share something in common. Give me any recommendations you might have also.
p.s. how absolutely amazing is the color spectrum?
I've listened to the color spectrum at my friend's house (She have a turntable (Technics SL-1200 MK2 ^^))
IMO, I think that this album is an ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE
Seriously, if you have a turntable and can afford the Vinyl Complete Collection, it well worth the price. Not a single song disappointed me.
As you may know, each Disc have its own mood and style.
I Realy recommend this album!
(I would like to know how much you appreciate it if you give it a listen ^^)

Thanks for the recommendations!
Deas Vail - All The Houses Look The Same. Also a masterpiece; with extraordinary recording quality.
