Norse Audio 8 conductor LCD-2 Cable. 4-pin XLR terminated. 6 ft.
Will Ship To: Anywhere
SOLD (thank you wink)
I sold my LCD-2's locally to a buyer who was running a single ended setup. I've got no use for this cable now so its up for sale.
An excellent aftermarket cable priced well below its competitors. Has all the features of a good cable: high grade UP-OCC wire, silver solder, Neutrik HD series connector, relatively light, low microphonics and stunning aesthetics. In fact the only thing it doesn't have is an inflated price tag. I recommend interested head-fiers to have a read through this thread I created a while back - LCD-2 Owners - which aftermarket cable do you use? - to help you decide if this is the cable for you.
I paid $160 + $32 shipping to NZ for this. This was a promotional price for the now discontinued 8 conductor version. Norse Audio currently only sells the 4 conductor version (which has only 2 wires per channel instead of 4) for the price of $130 for 6 ft. Trevor says he may well bring the 8 conductor back in the future due to high demand, and I'd guess at which point in time the Norse Audio site will have fully launched and the price would be a bit higher.
Asking for $SOLD + shipping for this. My shipping rates are $5 for NZ, $10 for Australia and $17.50 for rest of the world. All options are tracked and all prices are in USD. As this is my first time selling on head-fi, I will cover the paypal fees for security of the buyer.
Obviously head-fiers down under will be getting a better deal :)
In a few places on the cable there is slight imperfections on the outside, I have highlighted these in the last 2 photographs. These are very small and a purely aesthetic flaw - only seen when looked hard for. Otherwise in as-new condition. I'd guess ~60 hours use so not even 100% burned in.
Almost forgot - it has the standard Padauk splitter and the right mini-xlr connector is indicated by a blue cover instead of the standard red.
