High capacity High voltage battery charger as clean PS?

Would that work as providing clean DC, while charging, would clean power be supplied from the battery?

Generally speaking, no.  While a battery is being charged, the voltage comes from the charger, not the battery.

yep, considering the charger has direct continuity with the circuit under power

I seem to recall hearing of something like this once upon a time.

But now that I think it over, I am not sure it makes any sense.

Maybe if you switched between two (sets of) batteries or something? hrm

Blue Circle Audio uses battery based power supplies in some of their gear.

Yup, it's possible to design something like that.  It doesn't seem very difficult to implement.  If I had good amount of time, I can do some research, but not worth it to me right now..
