Improving my setup

I currently really like my portable setup but I was wondering if there was any ways to improve it from here.

My current setup is:
Cowon s9 (32GB) -> Pa2v2 (through stock 3.5mm mini to mini cable amped out of the headphone out) -> Hifiman Re0's

I love the sound of the Re0's so I'm not really looking for new IEMs at the moment. I listen to all sorts of music. I guess my question really is what benefit would i get from replacing the mini to mini cable with a silver cable from Moon audio or ALO? I've read a bit about silver cables and use DIY ones in my home system, but I'd prefer a not DIY one for my portable. Or if I do go DIY would hacking together a silver LOD cable to the amp be a viable option?

What do you expect from a silver wired mini to mini??

I would think the sound would be more neutral and possibly slightly more detailed as compared to the copper cable that came with the pa2v2.

The pure Silver cable will just improve little in upper mids, highs but overall sound won't change much. The Cryo cables(ALO pure Cryo 18AWG, 22AWG or Silver&Cryo) made fantastic changes and difference is big like overall better soundquality include bigger soundstage, more bass, rich mids and clear highs.

The already amplified signal is amplified again by your pa2v2..yeahh, of course go with the ALO..

Is the only difference between these less strain on the plug?

If I want the best SQ, which mini-to-mini from ALO should I get?

The 18AWG is better than 22AWG and i will recommend the 18AWG SXC mini to mini or 18AWG pure Cryo jumbo mini to mini.

Why not saving your cash for a better amplifier ? a Pico Slim, Shadow or Arrow will probably go a great length in improving your rig.

Hmmm...I'll look into it. I really am liking the shadow based off what i've read so far. :)
