OK, Ken says some pretty inflammatory stuff, but he has probably spent more time with his head buried in various aspects of audio design than anyone on Head-Fi - happy to hear otherwise. He doesnt spare anyone in his discussion of 'Wire we here':

I do agree with Ken on one thing - the future of hi-fidelity audio doesnt rest with a small group of hobbyists and the boutique industry which currently services them, as painful as that will be to many here. It rests with a mass market willing to make the same demands of *every* audio manufacturer that they do of people who make TVs or computers. We can mock 'Average Joe' and his appreciation of the Apple iBud, but that isnt going to be changed by someone in the existing 2-channel boutique audio industry.
