Any decent 2.1 speakers under $50?

Hello Head-Fi !

I was thinking of getting a new 2.1 speaker system but I don't know where to start.

I mostly listen to dubstep and electronica, sometimes RnB.

So far I've found these, they look alright and have decent RMS for sub $50 speakers:

Are there any other models you guys can think of?

I know I shouldn't really be expecting much for $50 dollars, but I just want to get my money's worth.

These are the only stores I have access to:

Thanks!

In that price range Altec Lansing and Logitech are big names.

Notice how I said big names and not good speakers. Honestly, I've never heard $50 speakers that were worth the price.

Choose an Edifier, I have a M3400 myself,  that fits your budget. biggrin.gif

Edifier defently make the better 2.1 systems, for $50 look for the labtec 485 these http://www.labtec.com/index.cfm/gear/details/EUR/EN,crid=18,contentid=694,crid2=22 , labtecs are just rebranded logitechs but sell alot cheaper and you get alot more for your money the labtec 485 is actually not a bad sounding system.

I have an old pair of Labtecs and they work great.  They don't sound like crap whatsoever and the subwoofer is very powerful for it's price.

In this price range, you can't go wrong with Edifier. wink.gif
