So folks i have almost
decided on A2s over many
2.1s i considered.Just want
to be reassured.has any one got a faulty one yet.how to check for one bcoz they require many days to be burnt in.
I listen lots of metal ,rock
and blues.i want super
clear sound,also intend to
watch movies.how will it
fare.?
P.S-i prefer a notch above
medium sound but not so
loudy,with some tight bass
which doesnt overwhelm.
Please help fast, gonna order in few hours.

Just buy them. You will not be disappointed. I have had mine since Christmas: great sound

No doubt in my mind I would buy them again. Never an issue at all. Love them. You'll even get individual velvet drawstring bags for them too. I changed the included speaker wire to 14 gauge. Seem to be a bit better, maybe it's just me.

Did you get them? If so what do you think?

Make sure you get them angled at the right level. I made some nice wooden angled bases with vibration dampening feet. Makes for a better sound at the right angle.

I often wonder why products like this don't include a t-shirt, coupon for one, or at least an iron-on for a t-shirt or something. I'd wear it. Good advertising for them as well. Settle for a few included fancy stickers/decals even...

Mine was faulty when I got them. The right speaker would make a rattling sound when I put the volume to about halfway. Audioengine has excellent support that replied right away and sent out a replacement immediately. I got the replacement in a day or two and it works perfectly.

That said, I've been using them for over 5 months and I am really enjoying them.
