For Sale:
Sennheiser HD650 Jena 5ft Cable

Will Ship To: Anywhere

I bought this cable in October of 2008 for my HD650s from Head-Fier FallenAngel, who made the cable. I've used it quite a lot over the years, and its been great, but now I need money. Its around 5.5ft long, braided Jena Copper, 18awg (130-strand), Yarbo 1/4" plug on one end, and Cardas connectors on the other end. At one point the Cardas connectors came loose, so I sent the cable to Enigma Audio for repairs. He put in new Cardas connectors and afterwards it worked better than before. This comes from a pet-free and smoke-free home. Let me know if you have any questions.

For reference, I also had the blue Cardas HD650 cable and easily liked this one better and sold the Cardas within two weeks of buying it.

Its in perfect condition, asking less than I paid for it: $200 + shipping

I prefer paypal

Thanks for looking!

Adam

Um, I'm not sure where you got this information. This is a DIY cable, not a commercial product. Therefore, the price is set at the discretion of the manufacturer (I didn't make this, nor did I set this price). Are you saying that cables exactly like this one sell for $200?

I believe Dennis is right.  According to this link, the cord is $150 for up to 7ft, with $30 for adding the Cardas made Sennheiser tips and then another $10 to upgrade the Phono plug, and another $8 shipping making that a base price of $198 new.  Unless of course a head-fi'er making DIY cords and an audio company both named their cables "Jena" and have similar looking designs...

Hi, I appreciate the link but my cable is a different product than the one in the link. The copper used in my cable is indeed from Jena labs, but the cable I have is 18awg as opposed to 22awg (mine is thicker), the plug on my cable is Yarbo as opposed to Neutrik or Rhodium Cardas 1/4" termination. However, the Sennheiser Cardas termination is the same. The thicker cable and the higher quality 1/4" termination are what make my cable more expensive than the one on the website.
