It's only HARD to find and NO LONGER MADE items that you would be hard pressed. If it's still in production or has an equivalent or newer version, not such a lost, it's collectibles that are
the ones that bothers people. But what's strange is that even if say, there were only 500 made, for some reason even RARE items sometimes find their way to EBAY or AUDIOGON! I was going to sell my rare ACOUSTAT spectra 33 but decided not to. I don't have the house for such a large electrostat. It's rare but I sometimes see people sell it at audiogon. I thought I would never be able to find a teac x2000 open reel, til I found several people selling theirs but for much higher prices at ebay, then what I originally bought mine new from when I was stationed in japan. Even if you sell it, for some reason, someone out there has one for sale that ends up in audiogon or ebay. Strange hobby is the audio world.
