Well, the region where I'm from is overdue to a massive earthquake.  They're supposed to happen every 100 years or so and it's already past that date, apparently.  They've been earthquake proofing everything for the past few years.  Doesn't help that I live on an island.  We'd basically protect Vancouver if a tsunami ever hits. :P

I totally forgot about this thread! I was gonna post some pics of my home and current town of Kansas City, Missouri, United States but I never got around to it. Next year I'll have a good camera to do so though :)

This rap video shows some great sights of KCMO here (Westport area probably). This isn't just a set, those streets are real KC streets. I drive on that Honorary "Dutch" Newman Dr every once in a while. From the 1min point and on there are some cool sights from the top of a building.

I hope to see more pics!

P.S. Dutch Newman is a good rapper and friend of mine and I wanted to support him, don't hate me please. Hard working guy that deserves some discovery. What do you guys think? I don't wanna derail too much tho...

^ I don't remember those high rises towering the state capital.

They're less than 5 years old, I'd say. Some of them just finished very recently and have had a hard time filling up because of the economy.
