I want an amp, and also a good dac for my hd598 -they sound pretty good from my onboard soundcard, but there is a slight hiss and something is missing for me...
I listen mostly for classical music, and I also play computer games with them sometimes. My budget is around 250$. I can spend more money, but I am not sure that the investment wil be worth it. For example, I can buy the v-dac/ dac magic second hand pretty chip, but I am not sure that I will here a difference with this headphones- they are not really high end headphones that will greatly improve with good amp and dac.
