Best portable DAP with true line-out?

Thread Starter

I'm looking for a portable DAP with the following specs:

- It needs to have a true line-out port

- It has to be small (I'm not looking for a huge device like the Hifiman HM-801)

- Of course, I want it to produce the best sound quality as possible

Any suggestions?

Are the iPods the only DAPs with true line-out? I'd rather not use iTunes to import my songs (hate that app).

Thanks ^_^

Go for a Sansa Fuze then.
Rockbox it, and it'd be better.
Amp it through the line out and have the signature u want.
Also, the fuze is almost of the same size as the new Fiio E11, the combo looks sexy for sure.

Do the Sansa Clip+ and Fuze+ also have true line-out?

The Fuze V2, not the Fuze plus is what i am talking about. And it does have a true line out.

Yes, Sansa Fuze V2 -- Not Clip, or Fuze v1, or Fuze +.

@kmhaynes, Fuze V1 is also fine, has true line out,

but it has lesser battery life when running rockbox, compared to the Fuze V2, thats why i didn't mention V1.
