Using CMoy with gain 11, what gain for Mini^3?

Hey guys

I am in the process of getting the resistances for setting the gain on my Mini^3 to 2.

Now, i've been using a simple CMoy with my setup since a few days. i had built the CMoy with a gain of 11, and have been using it with my RE0s and RE-ZEROs, and i have been using the Volume pot at more than halfway on the CMoy. would i ever be satisfied with the gain of 2 on the Mini^3? or should i just build it at a gain of 5?

Err.. I think you have a misconception.

 

A Mini^3 of gain 11 has the same volume increase as a CMOY of gain 11.

 

 

If you have been using the pot at more than half way with 11.. that sounds like a proper gain, and you should probably set the Mini^3 to have a gain of 11 as well..

i'd be building the Mini^3 with a gain of 5 only.
