Apogee Duet sighting!  What sort of recording are you doing, if I may ask?

Apogee Duet indeed -- terrific piece of gear. I've been transferring a bunch of reel-to-reel tapes as well as cassettes to digital. The Apogee is quite an adept ADC, and a pretty good little DAC/headphone amp in its own right, although it barely has the punch to drive Sennheiser 800s.

Nice setup!

Just curious, have you plugged the HD-800 into a nice set of tubes yet?

(Apologies if you get curious and start buying more gear. biggrin.gif)

I haven't tried any tubes for this as yet, although I was considering a Woo amplifier for a while. A quality tube amp would no doubt sound very fine with the 800s. redface.gif
