Sound
The sound produced by the HD558 is rich, a bit light, and isn't bloated with bass which is a good thing. It has a crisp treble and punchy bass, very great...

Question regarding Clean Tears' music; are there any CDs available other than the ones in the iTunes store? I want to invest in their music but what stops me is the possibility that there might be CDs available for purchase from them. If there isn't any, than I'll just go ahead and get them from the iTunes store.
I clearly don't know how subscriptions work on Head-Fi… I've been under the impression no one has posted in this thread since I last posted here, but obviously that's not the case. I only actively follow the music forum on Head-Fi, so coming to the members' lounge just to check on this thread is kind of cumbersome for me…

jrharbort actually uploaded that video because I'd recommended the song to him in a PM. I wasn't expecting that but it's a nice thing because now the song's gotten a lot more exposure.
My, my, my. It's been so long since I've posted here that I don't remember what has been posted and what hasn't. I'll just dump some of my most recent Vocaloid encounters here. I'll hide the videos in a spoiler section for everybody's convenience. The videos are mostly in the order I've added them to my Vocaloid playlist on YouTube, i.e. the order I've discovered them.
I have only two things to add: that CUL cover is freakin' addictive and Circus-P is AMAZING. So glad I gave his music a chance after hearing two good covers of his songs but not liking the original (English) version of Circus Monster.

I hear you on subscriptions. I feel it can get a tad confusing..
On the other note, I tip my hat to you sir. I've learned of and enjoy so much Vocaloid music that hearing new Vocaloid music is always something to look forward to. :)
Here's two songs that I've been enjoying lately. :)

I actually finally figured out two days ago what was my problem with subscription. Apparently the subscriptions page has four tabs which I don't remember noticing before (I'm subscribed to a few threads but I've never actually felt the need to use the feature since all but this thread are on the music forum). At some point I've clicked the 'Edit My Subscriptions' one and since then whenever I've gone to view my subscription Head-Fi has taken me directly to that tab. I finally realized I need to click 'Threads' in order to view if there have been new posts in the threads I'm following. Such a simple thing but took me six months to figure out. At least I know now.
Since I hate posting a reply without actually contributing to the thread, here's a video I don't remember seeing here yet. It's yuyoyuppe's version of Tell Your World by livetune sung by Luka. yuyoyuppe's Palette was actually the first Luka song I heard and it made me fall in love with her voice instantly. In a small way this song reminds me of that first encounter… Good memories.
