Sometimes Audiosurf + Vocaloid music is simply awesome.

Just uploaded an old but good relaxing song using my custom foobar2000 dolby headphone config, "Original" quality available if you view from the youtube site. :)

Pretty nice.  The biggest soundstage I've ever heard with my SE530s, but a little echo-y.  I'll have to really play around with this more sometime.

Yea you can use DH2 - Live Room for no added reverb, I use DH1 - Reference Room mode as I like a slight additonal reverb as it helps creating a bigger stage feel (compare being in an auditorium). Could perhaps upload a comparision of this same song for you using DH2 mode as I believe this song would work great with no additional reverb as it has a lot on its own.

EDIT: OK here it is using DH2 - Live room mode which has roughly the same amount of reverb as when not using Dolby Headphone

Check http://www.head-fi.org/t/555263/foobar2000-dolby-headphone-config-comment-discuss if you want to try it out for yourself, I've recently adjusted the config quite a bit and got an even better result (more neutral/accurate frequency balance and soundstage) and introduced 2 different configs to better suit people's tastes or different kind of music. These videos here was using the "forward" sounding config.

I'm looking for a Hatsune Miku song I used to have but forgot to save it when I formatted, can't remember the name. All I can say it's a dance music with a catchy tune with the video I watched on youtube which was for this song had some zebra in it briefly haha.

EDIT: Found it, it was "Saihate (heavenly mix)"

Uploaded Levan Polkka with my custom Dolby Headphone config, this time with the "laid-back" config, sounds good with this song I think

I must sadly say that the Dolby didn't work well on my STAX or my AT. The bass slap turned rather floppy and lack of focus on it, the vocal sounds like it is coming from everywhere including behind me! Cool experience, but a bit too much for me to listen like that everyday. Again, subjective with my own gear.

Sounds pretty good with my K601.

I don't think I've ever posted my favorite remix of "STRATOSPHERE" by t.Komine, have I?

The video titles it "DeepSea ver.", but as far as I know, this is just a double-length cut of "Stratosphere -omake remix-" from the album ウタトラ.

ETA: For the longest time though, this was my favorite mix of "STRATOSPHERE":

"Stratosphere (ストラトスフィア) (Exaggerate mix)" feat. Re:A, on Up in the higher skies by t.Komine and Orange. (Album metadata credits t.Komine and Orange for artist, Re:A for performer.)

(Sorry for the bad quality, it's a pretty old song - 2008.)

LIVE. LIIIIIIIIVE.

Looks like someone took ShouRinka's BAD APPLE!! instrumental cover and had Gakupoid sing over it. Yes, this is a cover of a cover of a remix of a VGM.

>inb4 you got your Vocaloid in my Touhou

While we're on the topic of Alstroemeria Records,

"Girl of Eurus" by Minoshima Masayoshi, on the album A.aurantica.

It's a miracle~ *spin spin*

"Miracle∞Hinacle" by 3L on the album 東方想幽森雛 by IOSYS.

lol it sounds like its been through a reverb effector with small room setting or something.

btw does anyone here actually use the vocaloid software or into music synthesis?

OR stereo mastering / remastering maybe?

One of my ex-roommates (I'm still good friends with him) has a copy of Luka. Me, I'm waiting for Miku APPEND's English release.

I know Metal Gear Solid: Peacewalker used Vocaloid software to voice the AIs.

I usually can tell a vocaloid's voice from a human's, but for this vid, I gotta say gakupo sounds too human to be true!!!

U're awesome, well done there!

Someone needs better output transducers...
