LOL I left my sanity at the door when I was a kid and I first listened to a pair of ATH3's my dad used to have

 Those headphones look very much like my Signet (A-T's upscale line) TK22's.  They sound good.  In fact, I sold my Stax and kept them, among a few others.

Oh, yeaH if I remembercorrectly they had a very nice airy sound.But the contact wires on the transducers were hair thin so they couldn't be soldered back :(
