Stax SRM-1 MK2 cleaning

Hi.  I am a new Stax owner.  I am cleaning up the (initally working) "energizer" (amp) and have a question.  I am a long time DeoxIT fan, and aware that it should not be used on certain things.  This unit has an ALPS pot that I think may be one of the carbon types, thus one should use the Fader Lube (the one kind I don't have on hand) ... and perhaps this is a sealed pot, so I can't spray anything anyway?   I assume it's ok to use regular D5 on the power switch and the power and RCA connections.   I am considering replacing the capacitors but my monicker is well-earned mad.gif

If you undo the screws in the corners, the alps blue pots come apart easily.
