post buying questions for m50

Hi,

i am one more new member added to this great going forum

i have some question before buying M50

i live in INDIA so offically only ATH-M50 is avaliable no M50S

are there any disadvantages for M50 over M50s

I want to know the experience of the user who have used the coiled cable.

and finally can some tell me any other good buys comparable to m50 under 170$

i also had an offer to buy Music series one for 109$<2009> is it any good compared to M50

I strictly plan to use this cans to Music listing mostly via aportable drive<Sansa fuze+ or ipod > and once in while  from Desktop

Please feed me with ur valuable inputs

Can some one also  compare M50 to Ultrasone HFI-580, Shure SRH750Dj, Beyerdynamic DT 770

as i heard this are the competing headphones

Ok i always want to stick the original nature of Music as intended by the Composer  in that case which one is more preferable and how does 580 performance wrt to M50 in other segments

How is its sound stage compared to M50, how abts its mids and lows

Do they require any Amplifier?

 can any one  give me an idea abt "Music series one" intending to listen  purely Music not

going to use to watch movies or gaming
