A very all-round headphone for me. Just the right one to take on the go or on holiday. Also as a DJ, nice noice isolation. Very durable so you don't have to wonder if it will break if you throw...

This quick review is done after a few hours of listening. I bought them from B&H for the decent sum of 150$. If you've done your research you'll find out that Ultrasone HPs are known for their...

I auditioned the SRH-1840 straight out of the box, and was unsatisfied with the sound, so I decided to give them a period of break-in. Recent scientific studies have shown definite differences...

I didn't think of TEAC when I began searching for a dedicated CD player. My initial short list included Denon, Cambridge, Marantz, Onkyo. The Teac intrigued me, so I went for it. It is very...

It shouldn't. I use both L-shaped and straight plugs with my Sansa. However, if you're using a giant straight plug (Sennheiser HD280, for example) or a 1/4" plug with an adaptor, that could put some strain on the jack (broke the jack on my iPod this way). With portable headphones, you should be fine. The player is so small that it's unlikely that it could provide enough leverage to break the plug (hope this makes sense).

I'm probably going to pick up a Clip+ very soon, but I've noticed one possibly major problem: the headphone jack is on the side rather than the top or bottom. Since I personally dislike L-shaped plugs, most of my headphones are I-plugs... over time, won't this damage the headphones' plug or the Clip's headphone jack?
Not if you're careful.

I clip mine to my shirt pocket.....I've had one over a year, and the other close to a year, and no problems yet.

Why should it be prone to any more damage than if it was at the top or the bottom, I'd ask?
The Clip + is for all intense and purpose square, so it don't matter what side the HO is situated.
Probably.
Of course it would. This is an inherent design flaw with this player. I have this issue with my Clip+ and countless other owners have it too. Just search the web.
