Currently I have collected the following:
-
2.1 Denon speaker system: http://www.superfi.co.uk/index.cfm/page/moreinfo.cfm/product_id/1964
(back of sub looks like this: http://www.avforums.com/forums/attachments/av-amplifiers-receivers/242516d1306073499-amp-denon-dsw-3l-sub-2-speakers-dscf3033.jpg)
- AKG Q350 headphones: http://www.headphone.com/headphones/akg-q350-quincy-jones.php
- Laptop or iPhone w/iTunes playing Apple Lossless files
- 2 x AirPort Express stations (1 for computer system, 1 for living room system)
I do not understand the whole Line In/Line Out/Phase/LF Direct etc. of the sub, but I am thinking the best/simplest solution to complete the computer system is an integrated AMP/DAC that I will be able to 1) plug my headphones and airport express into, and 2) power the speakers and subwoofer in an efficient/controlled manner. Looking to stay reasonably priced, with something that has a small footprint for computer desk.
Let me know your thoughts on the best manner to wrap this up!? I am open to suggestions.
